Dirty Snout Amber Lager
Style: Amber Lager | ABV: 4.8% | Format: 440ml Can
The one that started it all. Dirty Snout is a rich, malt-forward amber lager brewed with serious character at Farringtons Brewery — three base malts and two caramel malts walked into a bar, and this is what came out. Bold enough to mean business, smooth enough to sink a few without noticing. No fuss. Just a deadly pint.
Tasting Notes
- Aroma: Toasted caramel and toffee malt — like someone left a biscuit tin open beside a warm fire
- Palate: Rich malt sweetness up front, a gentle hop nudge in the middle, with layers of biscuit and a whisper of light roast
- Finish: Smooth, clean, and satisfyingly rounded — the kind of finish that has you reaching for another before you've even put the glass down
Food Pairings A natural match for slow-cooked ribs, smoky BBQ, hearty burgers, aged cheddar, or a proper pub steak. Basically anything you'd eat with your hands and no regrets.
Serving Suggestion Best served cold at 5–7°C. Pour into a clean pint glass and let the colour do the talking.
